Invite Your Team
Once your workspace basics are in place, invite the people who will work in DevSphere OS. Assigning the right role and access at invite time keeps your workspace organized and secure.
#When to invite
Invite team members after your organization profile and core departments are set. That way people arrive to a workspace that already makes sense, rather than an empty one.

Add the person
Enter the team member’s email to send an invitation.

Select a role
Choose the role that matches what they will do.

Set department access
Give access only to the departments they need.

Review permissions
Confirm the actions they can take before sending.

Send and onboard
They receive an invite; point them to Getting Started to orient.
Avoid over-granting access
Admins should avoid giving full access unnecessarily. Start with the minimum each person needs and expand later — it is easier to add access than to walk back too much of it.
#Best practices for first invites
- Invite one or two admins first, then broaden.
- Match roles to real responsibilities, not job titles alone.
- Tell new members what to set up on their first sign-in.
