Contacts

Contact information in DevSphere OS is managed on the records it belongs to — Leads and Customers — rather than in a separate Contacts module.

#What it is

There is no standalone Contacts entity. The person you deal with is captured directly on a lead — their name, email, and phone — and those details stay with the record as the lead becomes a customer. You manage contact information from the Leads and Customers areas, not from a dedicated Contacts screen.

#Key capabilities

  • Store a contact's name, email, and phone on the lead
  • Keep those details with the customer once a deal is won
  • Reach the person directly from the lead or customer record
  • Attach notes and activities to the same record

#How to use it

1

Capture on the lead

Enter the person's name, email, and phone when you add or import the lead — this is where contact details live.
2

Work the relationship

Log activities, notes, and follow-ups against that lead as you engage the contact.
3

Carry through to the customer

When the lead is won, the contact details move with it to the customer record, so history stays in one place.
