Departments Overview
In DevSphere OS, a department is a business area — a place where a particular kind of work happens. Departments share one workspace and one data layer, so they operate together rather than in isolation.
Departments and AI agents
Most departments have a matching AI agent that assists with its work. Departments are where people work; agents are the assistants that draft, analyze, and suggest within them.

#How departments connect
Because they share data, a customer, project, or metric created in one department is visible to the others that need it — subject to permissions. Sales hands off to Projects, Projects link to Finance, and everything rolls up into Reports and the CEO view. No re-entering the same information in each area.
